Organized Mom-Zine

September 2011

Welcome to the September issue of the Organized Mom-Zine bringing you tips and support to help you get your family organized.

If you like this e-zine, please do a friend (and me!) a big favor and “pay if forward!” If a friend did forward this to you and you like what you read, please subscribe today!

With the changing of the seasons comes 'back to school' for many families. If you find yourself saying "I will be more organized this year," you are not alone! All you need are some tools to make it easier to get organized. Sometimes all it takes is a chore chart, checklist or other system to make all the difference in your home.

Your kids are a year older and might be ready for additional responsibilities! Have you considered which chores are age appropriate? You might be surprised by what household work you can delegate to your capable kids. (Really!)
Now is a great time to remember all the fun daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal routines for kids and see what you want to add for this year. Routines for kids benefit everyone. Clear chores expectations is only one part of it! Remember that an organized home gives you more time, so make sure you make time for some family fun!
I am going to leave you with a PEP TALK! to keep you motivated. The frustrations you experience happen in every household! I'm here to remind you that the reason we use all these checklists and chore charts is not to live in a perfect, spotless house. The purpose of our system of checklists and chore charts is to give your family a way to live together in balance, sharing the workload, but making time for fun together, too.

Okay, folks, thanks for reading, and please write us with any feedback, suggestions or content requests! Just reply to this e-zine and tell me what you think...
