Organized Mom-Zine

October 2011

Welcome to the October issue of the Organized Mom-Zine bringing you tips and support to help you get your family organized.

If you like this e-zine, please do a friend (and me!) a big favor and “pay if forward!” If a friend did forward this to you and you like what you read, please subscribe today!

I want to start with a big THANK YOU to you all for your interest and support in our Chores and Checklists site. We have written another e-book, and this one is just for our e-zine subscribers! You can download your FREE e-book titled, The Pretty Clean House: 7 Quick Fixes and 4 Tidy Tricks to Teach Your Kids." Click here to download your free 10 page pdf and teach your kids some fun cleaning games.

I don't know about you, but when I had kids, my laundry routine completely fell apart. Now that my kids are older, it is time for them to pull their own weight! Teaching kids how to do their own laundry is easy and SO helpful! It's the easiest chore to delegate, so get your kids on board.
I had an overwhelming response to our page on Stranger Danger, and I've added a page on stranger danger scenarios that you can practice with your kids. Kids need to learn how to navigate certain situations because their judgement may be what prevents them from becoming a victim of a stranger or even acquaintance. This may be the most important "checklist" on the site.
The thought of teaching your kids to cook with you may seem like a burden right now, but think ahead to when THEY will cook for YOU! Start small with some easy meal ideas to cook together and a list of must-have ingredients to have stocked in your cupboards at all times.
Okay, folks, thanks for reading, and please write us with any feedback, suggestions or content requests! Just reply to this e-zine and tell me what you think...

See you on
